As of now, the transition government has not confirmed this news, nor has Hilary Clinton’s office. A couple of media outlets said that “sources” told them that she would accept, but it isn’t actually official.I’m not saying I don’t think that it’s true. I’m just saying that the gun has been jumped.

I think foreign policy is an area in which a woman should not be involved. We certainly saw that under Madeline Albright when Bill had to step into so many negotiations himself. if we need to throw women a bone, let’s make hillary Secretary of Veteran’s Affairs. Not enough governments will respect a chick – and rightfully so. she doesn’t have the balls to handle affairs of state, war and national security.

4:36: If Obama’s presidency is enough of a failure for there to be a major challenge in the primaries then that may very well be what needs to happen. The next few years are going to be extremely rough on every front. If anyone can bring things together it’s Obama. I think he’ll do a pretty good job all things considered, but I don’t know what the outcome of that’s going to be. Even if he does an amazing job as president there’s still a decent likelihood that the world four years down the road is going to be worse off than the one we live in today. And if that’s the case, I’d almost certainly (if the current state of the Republican Party is any indication) prefer to see Hillary Clinton in the White House than anyone the GOP will throw at the office.

This will be interesting. Certainly puts her in a position to undermine his presidency if she so chooses. I can just hear her pitch in the primaries 3 years from now : “I am resigning today in hopes of bringing my leadership and experience to domestic affairs in the same way that I did in foreign affairs, and in a way that, sadly, this president has failed to do.” (that’s Bill in the background yelling, “Go baby! Go!”)

Yeah and Bob Woodward immediately weighed in saying it’s a very bad move for Obama. Specifically: “If Obama thinks he can control Hillary or Bill Clinton he must be smoking something.” On the DrudgeReport NOW.
