How many other clues has Jeopardy had about the 2008 Super Bowl in its 25-season run? Considering the 2008 Super Bowl took place less than a year ago, I’m guessing not a whole lot. Not to mention that there can only be one instance of being “one second from defeat in the 2008 Super Bowl.”

ben that’s not a valid argument. how many times can you recall hearing the (clearly not offensive) phrase “one second from defeat in the 2008 super bowl” used in a jeopardy clue prior to this?

I watch Jeopardy! every night… I remember this category, I loved it, as well as the follow-up in the next round (“Sore Winners”) – it was humorous. Alex didn’t dis them or anything.
