The Mixolydians is a fully mixed vocal ensemble formed with the purpose of performing, proliferating and cultivating an interest in the art of chamber works written for a small vocal ensemble. The Mixolydians also aims to instate a high standard of the choral art, and to explore new sonic spaces for musical and/or theatrical expression in a continuing search to re-examine the choral idioms of our time. We’re having auditions this Thursday (1/29) from 5:15-6:30 in the chapel basement. Bring a song and a smile!
