CRC Events

Interested in working at a Nonprofit Organization? Curious about NPOs and their structure? Then the CRC’s Peer Career Advisors think you should know about their event Wednesday (today for most you):
Come check out the CRC-sponsored event “Nonprofit Organization and Structure” on Wednesday, February 11th from 7-8pm in Usdan 108, with guest speaker Sharyn Holstead. Great for seniors (and others!) interested in working in nonprofits but who want to know more about how the field works and what it’s like to have a career at an NPO. Sharyn will also give some considerations for finding (and getting!) entry-level jobs in nonprofits.
Any questions contact Jim Kubat at jkubat@wes.

What: Learn about working for NPOs
Where: Usdan 108
When: Wednesday, February 11th from 7-8pm

For those of you interested in Wells Fargo, there is apparently a talk at the same time (I feel that the mutual exclusivity of attendance at these two talks is both ironic and symbolic). From the CRC Website:

The Career Resource Center and Phi Beta Sigma welcome Sanford Livingston ’87 and Doug Rubenstein ’07 from Wells Fargo for an information session.

Where: Pac 001
When: Wednesday, February 11th from 7-8pm

[Disclaimer: Everything I know about this second event comes from the CRC website/calendar. The contact is listed as Anne Santaniello, whose extension is x2180. The CRC runs a lot of events, and we generally don’t post them unless asked, so if you’re really interested in CRC events you should check that site regularly.]
