In honor of Washington, Wesleyan ITS has bumped up late night bandwidth. Between 8pm and 6am, internet speeds will be about 50% faster. The change first went into place last night.

This is awesome. Now I can procrastinate by watching TV shows online late at night more often!… yay :X(Though for real, streaming video legally from sites like ABC.com was really difficult with the speeds we were having. This is pretty great.)

they buy bandwidth from the connecticut education network, so they pony up a bit more $ to CEN, and voila! faster internet
