The Social Justice Leadership Conference (SJLC) is a collaborative effort which provides a space for students, student groups, community members, alumni, faculty, and staff to discuss social justice and to learn and refine leadership skills. SJLC seeks to empower its participants to create change by applying the skills and knowledge acquired during the conference.
Students, student groups, alumni, community members, faculty and staff facilitate sessions in their area of interest or expertise. Sessions focus on leadership skills that may be applied to any social movement and on the many manifestations of injustice and how participants can be involved in creating change. SJLC provides participants with resources and opportunities for engagement on campus, in Middletown, in Connecticut and across the globe.
Please register here by 4pm Friday or visit here to learn more about the conference.
Date: March 28
Time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Place: Daniel Family Commons

Very Important Admission Office Memo
Good Day Everyone,
It has come to our attention that both office supplies and personal items have been taken from the office. Our hope is that none of the students that work here are part of the problem. Nevertheless, the problem must be addressed. Boxes/handfuls of pens, pencils, sticky notes, paper reams and other items have all gone missing. From the kitchen area; coffee, hot chocolate, creamers, plastic forks, spoons, knives have also been taken in larger quantities. The problem has been reported to Public Safety and will be investigated. Office supplies are not for personal/school use. If you have a need to borrow something for a few days, please ask.
On a personal note…It disturbs us to have to write this to all of you. Although these items may sound trivial the problem is increasingly getting worse. This notice will also go out to all Tour Guides and Custodial personnel
Regards,
Judy, Diane and Laura
