Megafaun, Wesleyan Electro-Acoustic Illumination Orchestra Play At CFA Cinema

Check out Megafaun and the Wesleyan University Electro-Acoustic Illumination Orchestra tonight in the CFA “Old” Cinema!

You may have caught Megafaun when they shared the stage with Akron/Family last spring at Bekham. Or perhaps you checked out their blistering Earth House show in September? If so, you  probably realized that they’re one of the finest psych-folk/New Weird America/A[vant]mericana bands working right now. They’re also huge Lucier and Braxton fans, one of them studied drums with free jazz great Milford Graves, and they’re coming to play a set of more experimental, largely improvised music this Tuesday.

Wesleyan University Electro-Acoustic Illumination Orchestra, composed of Wesleyan music graduate students, will open the show. Come see what your TAs can do with laptops and contact microphones!

Date: TONIGHT, Tuesday, April 14
Time: 8: 30 PM
