The Americans, Il Bastardo at Beta

Diabetes Happens and Beta present The Americans and Il Bastardo, live at Beta on Friday:

Come get funked up with The Americans, a 10-piece band hailing from New York City. They play “contagious pop music with thick R&B undertones that reaches into classic repertoires while maintaining a contemporary and fresh sound” – CDBABY.COM

There will be horns. Opening for The Americans will be IL BASTARDO, a four-piece wrecking crew of Bard College rockers.

After the show there will be a dance party hosted by DJ Steve McQueen.

$3 cover at the door. Proceeds from the show will benefit Diabetes Happens, a non-profit organization founded by Beta’s own Tyler Byrne ’09 to “promote a positive and pro-active outlook on life with diabetes.”
