WSA Class Representative elections open at midnight tonight and if you’re a rising junior, Max Rothstein `11 would like to represent you in the WSA:

Hey Wesleyan,

I would be honored if you selected me to represent our class on the WSA. In these difficult economic times, it is especially important to embrace social activities and socialism. In that light, I promise that if elected I will work diligently with the WSA representatives and SBC committee to make sure you each get the most out of your student activities fee. I have a lot of experience planning events and served as the Director of Students for Barack Obama in Connecticut. As a Freshmen I planned the Obama rally with Kal Penn. As a Sophomore I helped organize the Brother Ali show at Beckham hall. If you select me as your representative I will continue to work to plan concerts and parties. Because really, I think we all deserve a student government which works to make Wesleyan more fun.

    this is just laughable. look, jargon from your soc class doesn’t always translate well onto an anonymous board. loose the inferiority complex and try to enjoy yourself on your own terms.

    you who else tries to monopolize their ideas about what is cool through their space? beta, psi u, dke, and alpha delt. so if you excuse me, i’m gonna go throw a room party, kick back, and rest assured that the people in the room with me are the coolest motherfuckers ever. just like everyone else, for that matter.

    Umm to the above two comments. Stop hating. I’m not even going to address the way the eclectic board behaved in the wake of this rumor initially being spread. But seriously, if you’re thinking about slandering someone for the sake of everyone hold it in. And if you really really need to get it out and just can’t hold it anymore, don’t do it anonymously. This is the kind of negativity that we need to stop at Wesleyan. Everyone vote for whoever you think will represent you best and save the smack talk.
