Congratulations to Wes softball, which won its second straight NESCAC West title with a sweep at Hamilton over the weekend. Wes also clinched a share of the Little Three title–after winning it outright last year–thanks to Williams’ doubleheader sweep of Amherst. Meaghan Dendy ’10 had two of the Cardinals’ three wins in the series–including a 2-0 shutout in the first game, which she also led off with a home run–and Talia Bernstein ’11 went 7-for-8 in yesterday’s doubleheader to raise her average to .454.
Wes plays Bates on Friday in its first game of the NESCAC tournament (Wes was the ’08 runner-up). All of the games will likely be webcast by JumboCast. Go Wes!
