Be a Huynher, Vote for Andrew, 2011

Andrew Huynh 2011

Andrew Huynh ’11 wants you (to vote for him):

Feel like your student group has been ignored? Wondering where all the money has gone?

You aren’t alone. Working in the WSA Office, I see people walking in all the time with these questions. The student government was created to actively support student interests, and to do that, it needs to be clear and accessible. It needs to be transparent and it needs to broaden itself beyond a select group of people on campus.

I pledge to you that I will work to meet these objectives. The WSA must be made more accountable for its spending and its actions–and I’ll push to make it that way, by making the budget, and the individual spending publicly available. We have to rein in questionable spending, so that student groups can get fairer allocations for their efforts, and likewise, better support from your government.

Vote for me for a truly supportive student government.

Vote to Huynh 2009.

this is outrageous…feeding hungry people is now a crime. “if we can’t give hungry people impeccably prepared high quality food, hell, we might as well just keep them hungry, and while we’re at it, we’ll fine the people who think that hunger is a bad thing.”

this pisses me off more than the Fountain Avenue incident. nice.
