Re-elect Genevieve Hutchings for Sophomore Class Rep

Rising sophomores, here’s Genevieve Hutchings ’12’s statement.
Dear Class of 2012,
I am re-running for WSA as sophomore class rep. Last year, it was with the help of you all that I joined the WSA and I believe that I can continue bringing relevant issues to the Assembly’s attention with your support. I served on Finance and Facilities Committee this year and achieved a lot of progress with issues concerning dining and Usdan Center. I am a student of color and I believe that it is imperative for the WSA to remain a diverse collective of leaders. I would like to continue work on the WSA with issues such as creating a closer link between the WSA and other student organizations, more eco-friendly uses of the campus, and improvements on the work-study program. I believe that I have the ability and passion required to continue as a member on the WSA, and with your support our sophomore year will be a great experience.

    I heard she’s the only student of color running.

    Just kidding. I heard she said that she was the only SoC running in an email to the entire fauver listerv, but it wasn’t true. And this post is just that email with the race baiting removed.
