NWP talk on intl. service and development

Nagarote-Wesleyan PartnershipJoin the Nagarote-Wesleyan Partnership for a discussion on international service and community development in Nicaragua, led by Sarah Proescher, field director of the Norwalk/Nagarote Sister City partnership. Proescher, who in addition to her extensive work advocating for civil rights in Chiapas, Mexico and immigrant rights in New York City, has experience in international service and the issues surrounding it, will address the issue of irresponsible foreign aid and the ‘new paradigm’ of sustainable development.

The NWP will also show a short video about existing programs and the youth involved in the Sister City Project, as well as provide information about the student group on campus.
