The Secret Science of Forgetting, an interdisciplinary performance created, designed, and performed by No Face Theater, has been rescheduled from earlier this week in light of recent events:
“What is contained inside hollow bones? The secret science of forgetting. We have come to forget the feel of our own skin.”
Equally an anatomy lesson, a prayer, and a celebration, The Secret Science of Forgetting looks at what happens when the laws of nature fall apart. In a world where all the birds have died, an ornithologist, a poet, a hermit, and two avian hybrids must choose whether they will bend to the laws of nature or make the laws of nature bend to them.

A message from No Face:
We began writing this performance in Fall 2008. We developed the script and performance in collaboration as actors, directors, designers, and musicians.
This was a difficult decision for us to make, but we decided to continue with our performance because it is the result of the collaboration of many artists at Wesleyan and the culmination of many years making art on this campus, and we feel it should be shared.
We we will see you there, and without any expectation hope this performance can be an opportunity for people to come together.
Sincerely,
No Face
