The Wesleyan Korean Drumming Ensemble had their end of the year performance tonight. In addition to the Beginners and Advanced Classes’ performances, there was a special guest, Jung Bae Park, who came and played many traditional Korean instruments.
In the end, the audience was invited to join in and give their hand at Korean drumming, and it turned into a really great time with people holding hands in a circle and running around, while others drummed in the middle.
As the MC, Jiun Kim ’10 said, “Korean drumming is about unity and community, so we decided that even with the events of the past week, we should perform as scheduled, to bring the Wesleyan community together.”
For those of you who missed it, be sure to attend next year!
