4-5 pm – President’s Reception for Families and Friends – Usdan Courtyard
*Tearful goodbyes usually take place around this time.  Freshmen, call your parents this week to let them know how you’re doing.*
5-7 pm – Barbecue Dinner and New Student Welcome – CFA Green
7–9 p.m. – Honor Board and Student Judicial Board (SJB) Presentation/Public Safety and Campus Fire Safety Presentation – see booklet for group assignments
9-10:30 pm – Residence Hall meetings

Wesleying will be posting daily schedules, news about events, and guides for freshmen this week.  Speaking from personal experience, bonding with new friends may be more rewarding than attending every (non-mandatory) event in the orientation packet.  Embrace the awkwardness, and introduce yourself to everyone.  Welcome to Wes!

I disagree with Liz. Go to the SJB/Public/Fire Safety presentation so that you know how far you can go without getting in a financial or disciplinary mess. The tour of the library will make it easier for you to use it when you need it. You will eventually need it.
