“The Skriker” auditions

skrikerFrom Yelena Sayko ’10:

This semester’s Theater Department production will be Churchill’s The Skriker, in which a nature spirit arrives “to get love, attention, and revenge”. The work examines the forces that have led us to the brink of ecological destruction.

There are three fantastic roles for women and a diverse chorus of extraordinary creatures who sing, dance, and perform with puppets. If reading for the three female roles, please prepare a monologue. Everyone should prepare a demonstration of their ability to do physically demanding theater (e.g: stilt walking, mime, dance, circus skills, puppet manipulation, etc).

To sign up for an audition or for more info, go to the Call Board on the Theater Department website. Callbacks are September 12th, 2-5pm.

Date: Sept. 10
Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Place: East Room in the CFA Theater and Dance Studio
