Monday Oct. 5th
Dinner – Green Salad, Red Wine vin, Lemon Caper Chicken/Tofu, Mixed Roasted Veg, Garlic Mashed Potatoes. Simple, delicious comfort food.
Dessert – Pumpkin Spice Cake
Tuesday Oct. 6th
Lunch – Teriyaki Stir Fry. Bok Choy, Broccoli, Carrot, Scallion, Ginger, Garlic among others come together in this Japanese dish w/ Shrimp/ Tofu – VEGAN
Dessert – Coconut Cookies
Dinner – Green Salad, Dill vin., Charred Salmon and Gemeli Pasta w/ Citrus Fennel Cream Sauce. Lemon and Fennel compliment each other and enhance the natural flavor of the Salmon. Veg version w/ Tofu
Dessert – Apple Spice Cake
Wednesday Oct 7th
Lunch – S.Western Frittata. Eggs, Roasted Vidalia Onion, Scallion, Poblano Pepper, Red Bell Pepper, Bacon or Soy Bacon all Baked w/ Cheddar into a savory Omelet like dish. Also w/ Roasted Potatoes, Chipotle Drizzle
Dessert – Fresh Fruit
Dinner – Green salad, Curry Dressing, Mafe, Hardy West African stew, tomato peanut base w/ Sweet potato, Potato, Turnip, Carrot, etc. Slight spice balances the dish. w/ Chicken or Tofu, and Rice. VEGAN
Dessert – Coconut Cake
Thursday Oct. 8th
Lunch – Chicken and Wild Rice Soup or Caramelized Onion and Mushroom Soup for Veg option, w/ Fresh Baked Focaccia
Dessert – Berry Yogurt
Dinner – Green Salad, Herb Vin, Yard Style Greens, sautéed Green Cabbage w/ Thyme, Garlic, and Scallion, a traditional Jamaican side dish. Red Beans and Rice, and Caribbean Curry Chicken or Tofu. Coconut milk levels off the intense mix of aromatics typical of this region. VEGAN
Dessert- Ginger Cake
As always, the Star and Crescent eating club is located in Alpha Delta Phi (on 185 high street), lunch is 8 points and dinner is 10, and the first three freshman through the door eat free
