Though I don’t think this is how things will turn out for me (for the sake of humanity, my singing should never leave the shower), Wesleyan Alumna (and former CFA Intern) Amy Crawford ’05 is returning to Wes Friday Saturday night, this time as a performer. Apparently, she didn’t even think she could sing until her senior year here. Already an accomplished pianist, after discovering her vocal talent and doing some more studying at Berklee College of Music, she’s been busy crafting her own songs ever since. More at the CFA blog…and her website. And why not, here’s the facebook event, too.
Date: Saturday, 11/7
Time: 8 pm
Location: Crowell Concert Hall
Tickets: $8 for students

“Me,” I regret to tell you that you can not marry this girl. The State of Maine has passed a referendum forbidding you to marry anyone that attractive. Sorry.

You’ve got conflicting dates in the post. Crawford plays Saturday, not Friday.
Friday night at Crowell, it’s the Sacred Shakers and Eilen Jewell. Well worth checking out too – prior to the Megafaun blowout.
Holy shit, can I marry this girl?
