Andrzej W. Tymowski
Director of International Programs at the American Council of Learned Societies. Tymowski holds a Ph.D. from Yale University and has taught Political Science at Emory University and the University of Warsaw.
Peter Rutland
A Professor of Government at Wesleyan University, Peter Rutland has taught at Wesleyan since 1989. Before that he taught at the University of Texas at Austin, and at the University of York and London University in the UK. He has a BA from Oxford and a D. Phil from York. He has been a visiting Fulbright professor at the European University in St. Petersburg and at Sophia University in Tokyo. From 1995-97 he was on leave from Wesleyan and served as assistant director of the Open Media Research Institute attached to Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty in Prague.
Sarah E. Wiliarty
Assistant Professor of Government Sarah Wiliarty specializes in West European politics. Her research investigates how Christian Democratic parties have had to reformulate their policies in response to changing demands from women.
