Hebron is one of the most complex cities in the Middle East, it has great religious significance to Muslims and Jews, and it is one of the cities in Palestine where the occupation can be felt the most. It is the largest Palestinian city population-wise, and has 500-800 Israel settlers living in the center of the city, with thousands of Israel soldiers protecting them at one time.
Lev Plaves ’10 and Micah Weiss ’10 will share their experiences from traveling in Hebron and facilitate a discussion about the political and social situation in the city today.
