And Now, The Most Wesleyan Track You’ve Ever Heard

MGMT’s “Kids” covered by an Old Timey String Band. In other news, Michael Bay blows up the gender binary and Bill Belichick decides to take up the Gamelan.

This is pretty great. But we could do better, right here on campus. I have a dream and it is a Wes bluegrass cover competition. Very excited for both L.E.S. and Pizza Hut Taco Bell.

  3. ALWAYS CORRECT!

I like Wesleying’s comments on this song. Funny. Slightly confused though:

So I see how Michael Bay and gender binary are both easily associated with Wesleyan, and same for gamelan and Bill Belichik.
I also see how Wesleyan can somewhat greedily ‘claim’ MGMT as their own.
What I didn’t realize is that bluegrass is attached enough to our community as to make this “The most wesleyan song ever.”
