On February 17th 2004, Cameron Todd Willingham (see photo) was executed at the Texas State Penitentiary for the murder of his three young children by arson. He was 36 years old.
In August 2009, the truth was revealed: the “arson” was a freak accident, and the state of Texas had executed yet another innocent person.
