From Kara Ingraham ’11:
Did you know that the University Organizing Center (UOC) is the only building on campus meant exclusively for student group meetings, event planning, and progressive organizing and activism?
Well come check out the absolute coolest, most radical, most productive, yet most underused space on campus: the UOC! We are putting together our first UOC Open House of the year, and anyone interested in student activism on campus should come out!
There will be sweet music, food, cool things to learn, and information available about all the awesome groups who use the space for organizing.
The UOC includes the Emergence Infoshop Collective and the Anti-Oppression Library, while
the Queer Resource Center and the Hermes have offices upstairs. There are three spaces for group meetings, including a conference room, and office space is available for student group use. Come check out all the awesome stuff the UOC has to offer! All are welcome, the event is free, just come prepared to meet a lot of cool folks!

it’d be great if someone explained this to psafe so they would stop giving us a hard time when we need the door to be unlocked for meetings
