From Senior Class Officers ’10:
Did you ever watch Friends? Come meet the woman who created it this Sunday at 3 PM in the DFC.
Marta Kauffman (P’10) is an Emmy-award winning television writer and producer, best known for co-creating and producing the hit sitcom Friends. She began her career as a theater major at Brandeis University, where she met her creative partner, David Crane. Together they began to write plays, books and music, including the musicals “Personals,” and “Waiting for A Feeling.” Kauffman then moved into television to write and produce for shows including ten seasons of the Emmy-award winning “Friends,” as well as “Dream On,” “Veronica’s Closet,” “Jesse,” and “Related.” In addition to her successful career in the entertainment industry, Kauffman has also been very active in the political and Jewish communities.RSVP now with your full name to SeniorSpeakerSeries(at)gmail(dot)com
