If you haven’t already heard, the envelopes are out. High school seniors learned this past week whether or not they were accepted to some of the nation’s top universities.
According to New York Times blog The Choice, this year, Wesleyan
- Had 10,656 total applications
- That’s an increase of 588 applicants, or a 5.84% increase in the applicant pool
- Admitted 2,125 students!
- Which makes our admissions rate the ever-selective 19.94%
Apparently we’re not the only private college to see such an increase either. There seems to be an increase in applications to private colleges across the board. To see the rest of the rates, check out the Times post.
