Creating Order out of Chaos, Wesleyan’s brand-spanking-new knit+crochet supergroup, is having its first interest meeting. Creating Order out of Chaos aims to:
– teach anyone/everyone interested how to knit and/or crochet
– use these newfound skills for good by making items for charity this semester
– as a group, work to create knitted/crocheted artworks that are accessible to the entire community (yarn-bombing, installation pieces, etc.) during the spring semester
– emphasize and enjoy the crafting process
Crafters of all skill levels are totally welcome, including those who have never laid hands on a needle.
Bring blankets, your current project and something good to eat! We’ll discuss our plans for the group, and we hope you will all bring ideas of your own. Rain location is room 2107 in Westco.
