Blackbird Auditions (Round II)

The folks behind the upcoming Blackbird seem to actually have a shortage of dicks on the dance stage floor:

The Second Stage production of BLACKBIRD will be holding a second round of auditions on Thursday, Sept. 23, from 7pm to 9pm, in the East Room of the Theater Studios Building. This round of auditions is for MALE ACTORS only. Participants are asked to bring a one minute, contemporary, dramatic monologue (need not be memorized).

BLACKBIRD tells the story of Ray and Una, who fifteen years prior, had a relationship that left both of their lives in ruin. They haven’t set eyes on each other since. Now Una has found him again, and it is clear that the anger, the guilt, and the shame from years past still remain.

All questions can be directed to Evan DelGaudio ’12, Director (edelgaudio(at)wesleyan(dot)edu) and Elizabeth MacLachlan ’11, Stage Manager (emaclachlan(at)wesleyan(dot)edu).

Date: Monday, Sept. 23
Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Place: Theater Studios Building, East Room
