For those interested in participating in the first-ever Wesleyan University Slam Poetry Team, we’ll be hosting a short practice/mock slam to give everybody a chance to meet each other and see how events will run in the future. Again, this is targeted at those interested in **participating** in future slams as a fun, no-strings-attached practice.
Sign Up sheet goes up at 8PM, event begins at 8:15. There will only be 10 slots so get there early.
Poets should note that nothing performed in the Mock Slam will count toward the “no repeat rule” — in other words, if you use a piece this Thursday you may use it again at an official event.
