The Rally to Restore Sanity and the March to Keep Fear Alive

Rally to Restore Sanity/March to Keep Fear Alive

An initiative you should like, from Andrew “Alex” Trexler ’14 (who’s ’14 and proud):

For anyone and everyone interested in attending the Stewart/Colbert rally in Washington on Saturday October 30th, I have created a group called Wesleyan Students for Sanity and Fear. The sole purpose of this group is to get as many Wesleyan students there as possible. We’ll leave campus early in the morning, arriving, rallying, and getting back to campus in time to party. There may be a small fee for the ride ($5-10), it’s still up in the air. If you or anyone you know is interested in going, please email me at atrexler(at)wesleyan(dot)edu as soon as possible so I can sign you up.

Take it down a notch, for America.

Or, if you prefer, raise it up a stotch.

This is exactly why the daily show sucks balls now. Horrible tasting, smelly, moist monkey balls. Nobody wants to see jon “jewy mc jewerson” stewart talk about how he’s smarter than everyone else in the world and how if the political dialogue was created in his image america would be better.

Stewart should go back to being funny and stop thinking that people care what he thinks.

You know what, I don’t appreciate your comment. This has become a real cause, regardless of whether it began as a joke or a stunt. So much of the right has gone radical, and so much of the middle has been dragged along with them that what’s left is now the left. I am fiercely proud to call myself an independent who’s fond of the middle, but right now my middling views are suddenly quite solidly left despite the fact that they haven’t changed. This has been made into a real cause, so either don’t judge or shut up.
