From Raghu Appasani ’12:
The MINDS Foundation is a new student-run NGO started by Wesleyan students that is dedicated to promoting the availability of medical, educational, and supportive resources for patients with mental illness and neurological disorders. Our major goal is to set-up a rural clinic transport system to screen psychiatric patients in tribal regions and establish educational workshops to remove stigma.
A new chapter has opened at Wesleyan and they are currently seeking members. Please contact Raghu Appasani at rappasani(at)mindsfoundation(dot)org for more information.
There will be an Information Session on Sunday November 14th at 8PM in Allbritton 304.
Date: Nov. 14
Time: 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Place: Allbritton 304
