From Barbaralynn Moseman ’13:
The ICC was created in 2002 to attempt to apply the rule of law worldwide to protect the most basic human rights. “The Reckoning” is a documentary film which outlines the history of the ICC in international politics and brings personal stories from prosecutors’ investigations, victims, perpetrators, and local activists in the first four conflict situations where the ICC intervened (northern Uganda, Colombia, Darfur/Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of Congo). Join Wesleyan Students Taking Action Now Darfur for a showing of this film. Dinner and discussion to acccompany film!
