Dr. Gerry Rau ’76 will speak about his research and reflection on origins of the human species.
Dr Rau, who went on to earn his PhD at Cornell, will address the topic, “How Did Humans Emerge from the Mist?” He poses the question as follows, “Do we have to choose between science and religion or is there a way to reconcile the two?” Gerry notes, “This issue tends to spark heated debate, but our conversation will aim to generate light rather than heat.” A short reception will follow after the lecture.
