Wesleyan’s Annual Sustainable Design Charrette

This Saturday, WILD Wes (Working for Sustainable Landscape Design) is hosting Wesleyan’s First Annual Design Charrette. A charrette is a communal accelerated design process. Ours will focus on how to introduce fruit trees, wildflower meadows and native species into our campus. People from the Wes community and across the Northeast will come together to create designs to re-landscape areas around campus to be more sustainable and beautiful. Meet designers, students and community members as we imagine an aesthetically stunning alternative to the American lawn. Enjoy a free lunch complete with jazz ensemble. Get your butt out of bed cause it’s going to be huge. Roll hard or roll home- Come out! Get inspired! Get involved!
