Looking for something to do next summer? Volunteer for the Helambu Project! The Helambu Project is a grassroots Nepali NGO working to empower Himalayan communities by helping to create education, healthcare, and economic opportunities in Helambu, Nepal. The project runs a boarding school for 126 Nepali children in the village of Gangkharka, and is currently accepting teaching volunteers from all over the world.
A presentation will be made by Ka-Ya Lee ‘13 and Alanna Badgley ‘13, who volunteered at the school last summer.
