“Emails From An Asshole” is exactly what its name purports to be. And it’s absolutely hilarious.
In slightly more detail: this site (URL: DontEvenReply.com) provides a sizable archive of email exchanges in which one man (the unnamed asshole in question) confuses, torments, and otherwise fucks with astoundingly gullible, unsuspecting people who post classified ads on the internet. “My goal,” he writes, “is to mess with them, confuse them, and/or piss them off.” How noble. Though frequently in poor taste (you’ve been warned) and mercilessly mean, the transcripts that result are among the funniest things I’ve seen on the interwebs. (The site even garnered our hero a book deal, which Broad Street Books does, in fact, carry.)
My personal favorites include “Surrogate Father,” Attention-Grabbing Ad,” and “How Did She Know?” For something in a similar vein but perhaps less mean-spirited, or more subtle, or more British, or something, I recommend 27b/6—in particular, this exchange and this brilliant photo diary of “Twenty-Five Minutes on Chat Roulette.” Oh, and this, which makes me look forward to post-college apartment politics probably more than anything.

The second website is actually called 27b/6, not 28/b6. It’s hilarious but the chat roulette thing isn’t that funny.
