Film Series: “A Town Called Panic”

2009. Belgium/France. Dir: Stephane Aubier, Vincent Patar. Animated. 75 min.

“One Language Many Cultures: Cinema and the Modern Francophone World”

If TOY STORY shows what your toys did while you were out, PANIC recalls the hilariously surreal things you had them do during playtime. A plastic cowboy, Indian, and horse – cheaply animated and overenthusiastically voiced – struggle against subterranean interlopers, a giant metal penguin, and their own ineptitude. Presented as part of The Tournées Festival.

DATE: Tonight, January 19
TIME: 8PM
PLACE: CFS, Goldsmith Family Cinema
$5

The Tournées Festival was made possible with the support of the Cultural Services of the French Embassy and the French Ministry of Culture (CNC).
