In this Palme d’Or winner, teacher Bégaudeau presents a year in the education of the culturally- and racially-mixed children of an uneasy France. The film eloquently addresses issues of contemporary youth society in an almost documentary aesthetic, without the easy answers of the DEAD POETS SOCIETY generation. Presented as part of The Tournées Festival.
The Tournées Festival was made possible with the support of the Cultural Services of the French Embassy and the French Ministry of Culture (CNC).
