Are you questioning whether or not you are a thespian? Maybe you have been experimenting with being a thespian, but aren’t sure if it is for you? Well here is your chance to give it a try! Anthony Smith ’11 writes in about his new play Icarus or an Angel:
Hi all!
My name’s Anthony Smith, and for my senior project, I’m directing an original play titled Icarus or an Angel that premieres in two and a half weeks, Thu-Sat Feb 17, 18, 19, at 8:00 PM.
We really, really need about three more responsible people to run crew for us. It’d be more than just boring back stage work. Because of the nature of the piece, you’d be characters in the show as well!
The commitment is minimal until the week of the show. Then it will get a bit tougher, but you’ll be really proud of the work you do! And there’ll be snacks! And it’s a great way to get involved with a production if you’ve ever been interested in getting involved with one, or if working crew is your thing and has been your calling since birth.
Email my team at absmith@wes or tminter@wes if you have any more questions or if you’d like to help out.
