weSLAM Presents: Spring Slam Series, Round Three (+ Open Mic!), feat. James Merenda

Tomorrow night in WestCo Café is the third (and final) preliminary round of the Spring Slam Series, meaning it is your last chance to get a spot in the Spring Championship Slam Showdown. Same format as the last two bouts, except this time, the weSLAM team got a beast of a poet to feature for us.  Direct from the Facebook event page:

James Merenda is a poet, playwright, and high-five enthusiast based in the NYC area, who smiles a lot, and has a penchant for wandering. His work has appeared in PANK, and he’s performed at Yale & Columbia University. He enjoys falafel, awkward moments, and is currently attempting to become left-handed.

Trust us: this is not something you want to miss out on.

Trust us, weSLAM: this is not something we plan to miss out on.  Click for a sample.
