From Marj Dodson ’13:
Join Al Gore, Bill McKibben, Van Jones, and 10,000 young leaders in DC to demand climate solutions!
Powershift 2011 will be the largest youth convergence in US history. It will allow us to meet today’s challenges by bringing together over 10,000 environmental activists from across the country for focused trainings, issue briefings, and political action in the nation’s capital. It’s time for our elected officials in Washington, DC to hear our demands and follow our lead. We are sending a Wesleyan delegation down to Washington to have our voices heard, get inspired, and gain tools for making change in our campus community and beyond.
Registration is $65 until this Sunday! We will subsidize your price down to $35 if you register before this Sunday’s deadline. Transportation and Housing Provided!
