W.A.R. Stories is an incredible documentary on the life and ideology of Guyanese political activist and historian Walter Rodney.

This film covers the life of world renowned, historian, author, and activist, Dr. Walter Rodney who was assassinated on Friday, June 13, 1980, at the age of 38, in his native Guyana.

The film’s narrative on Walter Rodney is told by over 15 narrators, all people who knew him well or who were tremendously influenced by him. The narrators include some of his Working Peoples’ Alliance (WPA) fellows in arms, and some of his UWI classmates. The narratives and narrators crisscross, go back and forth across continents, build on each other, and they are filled with humor, horror, sentimentality, and awe.
