Want to learn more about the current political situation in Israel/Palestine?  Have experience/opinions/emotions about Israel/Palestine that you’d like to share in a safe space?  Want to help bring speakers/films/events to campus?  Then come to a meeting of WesShalom, Wesleyan’s pro-Israel, pro-Palestine, pro-peace group.  There will be cookies.

    Washing one’s hands of the conflict between the powerful and the powerless means to side with the powerful, not to be neutral.

        For a group to be both Pro-Israel and Pro-Palestine and Pro-Peace is simply to advocate a ceasefire with overwhelming power in the hands of Israel. Therefore, is a type of neutrality that in the long run benefits Israeli apartheid.
