Laura Stevenson and the Cans @ 200 Church

Anonymous ’13-er sends word of a sweet show going down at TwoHo tomorrow night:

Thursday, the 200 Church Concert Series continues, featuring Brooklyn-based folk-rock band Laura Stevenson and the Cans! It’s gonna be super awesome! Wesleying’s own Zach described Laura’s sweet and playful voice as merging “the fey, childlike qualities of Joanna Newsom with the folkey accessibility of Feist.” Check out this song from their upcoming sophomore release, Sit Resist.  You can also download their first album fo’ free right here. Free entry, but SHOFCO will have a bake sale, so bring a few dollars for snacks or donations!
