Free Trip to the Bronx Zoo

Love animals? Want to get off campus for a day? Sign up for the first Wes Bronx Zoo trip! Wesleyan Animal Studies and the WSA are co-sponsoring a trip to the Bronx Zoo on April 29th! The trip is 100% free and includes a bus-ride lecture (by wes profs), admission to the Zoo and Congo Gorilla Forest, a behind-the-scenes presentation by Bronx Zoo curators, as well as healthy snacks to fuel your Zoo adventuring.

The bus will leave on April 29th @ 9:30AM sharp and will return by 3:30PM. The trip is open to all class years on a first to sign up basis. Sign up with your friends!

Sign up by emailing wsa@wesleyan.edu with you name, class year, and WesID. Registration begins Monday evening (4/11) at 9PM (please do not email before this time). Seats are limited.

Special thanks to the generosity of the Bronx Zoo as well as the hard work of Wesleyan Animal Studies Profs for making this trip possible.

This is an awesome thing. Can I join you as an alum? I work a 2 minute drive from the zoo. Also I’m hoping to go to Wes that weekend, if someone is driving or there is an extra bus space, let me know.

“return by 3:30PM” Does this mean will leave the zoo at 3:30 or will be back at Wes by 3:30? –Thanks!
