Bidder 70: Tim DeChristopher on Confronting the Climate Crisis

From Brianna van Kan ’12:

Tim DeChristopher was recently convicted of two felony counts for disrupting an illegitimate BLM oil and gas auction in December of 2008, by outbidding oil companies for parcels around Arches and Canyonlands National Parks in Utah. In 2009, Tim founded Peaceful Uprising, a climate justice group working to build an uncompromising movement to defend a livable future. Join Tim as he delivers the urgent message regarding the need for bold, confrontational action in order to create a just and healthy world in the face of the climate crisis.
