WesFRESH is hosting a discussion and lunch with Bun Lai, one of the most interesting and talented chefs in the world. Bun is coming to Wesleyan on Thursday to speak about sustainable sushi.
Bun Lai is the head chef of Miya’s Restaurant in New Haven, the first and only sustainable sushi restaurant in the Northeast. Bun is a lauded environmental activist and food wunderkind, as well as an empowerer of youth across New Haven. He has been praised on the pages of the New York Times, The Nature Conservancy, and Fish2Fork.com. Bun, a straight-up G, will speak about the future of sushi, as well lessons of sustainability and good eating.
Bun will speak at 12pm on Thursday, April 28th, in Woodhead Lounge. Sustainable, delicious sushi will be served! Tickets are for sale in Usdan at Lunch and Dinner on Tuesday and Wednesday. They’re 2 dollars a pop.
Date: Thursday, April 28th
