Important message from Julie Platt ’12 from Project-Eye-To-Eye:
DO YOU HAVE A LEARNING DISABILITY OR ADHD?
Or have experience working with students with Learning Disabilities/ADHD?
If the answer is yes, then we want you to become a mentor with Project Eye-To-Eye!
Project Eye-To-Eye is the only national mentoring program pairing kids with LD/ADHD college students. Using an art-based curriculum, we help children with LD/ADHD to value their own unique minds, build their self-esteem, and give them the skills to become self-advocates! This is a one of a kind program that works to empower young students who, for far too long, have been told they are “different” than other student, and in a larger sense, redefine the perception of what it means today to be labeled as LD. We will only be selecting a limited number of mentors, so if you are interested, please do not wait to get in touch with us.
If you would like to be a part of a mentoring program and thriving community please contact WesleyanProjectEYEtoEYE(at)gmail(dot)com or Julie Platt (jrplatt@wes) and Jeremy Snyder (jsnyder@wes).
