Get Appointed to the WSA

Want to be on the WSA?  Here’s your chance, even if you didn’t win an election.  The WSA has a few open seats remaining, and is now accepting applications to be appointed to these committees.

To learn more about what each committee does, please visit the linked pages and their subpages.

To apply please send a 200-300 word letter, stating why you think you should sit on the WSA and which committee you would prefer to sit on if you are appointed, to wsa@wesleyan.edu no later than this Friday, the 23rd of September, at 9:00 AM. You must also sign up for an interview in the WSA office before noon that day. A sign up sheet will be available in the office starting tomorrow morning. Interviews for SBC will be conducted from 3:30PM-5:00PM.  Interviews for SAC and OEAC will be conducted from 2:00PM-3:30PM that same day. If this time does not work for you and you still wish to apply, notify the WSA by email immediately.

Please note, the SBC meetings are at 4:15PM every Monday.  Members of SAC are expected to attend the Student Life Committee meetings on Thursdays from 12:00-1:00. Members of all committees must also attend the weekly WSA meetings at 7:00PM on Sundays. If you have any questions about either of the committees, the WSA or appointments, please feel free to contact us.

Thanks and we look forward to seeing your applications!
