Interested in becoming a DJ at Wesleyan’s own radio station, WESU? Training begins this Sunday, October 2nd, at 5 PM in PAC 001.
To become a member of the WESU staff, you must complete a training program which consists of:
- Five one-hour training sessions
- Four hours of volunteer service
- Four internships
- A written and practical exam
Please note that missing two or more training sessions will disqualify you from joining the staff this season.
The training sessions will be held at the following times: Session 1: Sunday, October 2nd – 5:00 PM
Location: PAC Building, Room 001. (On the Wesleyan campus).
Session 2: Sunday, October 9th – 2:30 PM
Location: WESU Studios on Broad Street. (Above the campus bookstore).
Session 3: Sunday, October 16th – 2:30 PM
Location: WESU Studios on Broad Street. (Above the campus bookstore).
Session 4: Sunday, October 30th – 2:30 PM
Location: WESU Studios on Broad Street. (Above the campus bookstore).
Session 5 (Tips & Tricks): Sunday, November 6th – 5:00 PM
Location: PAC Building, Room 001. (On the Wesleyan campus).
Because the WESU Studio itself cannot easily accomodate a large crowd, we may hold additional training sessions at 3:30 PM for Sessions 2, 3 and 4 if needed.
